The A to Z of Pop! - Bite Size
Hello there and welcome along to the bite-sized editions of The A to Z of Pop!
With varying durations between 11 and 15 minutes, each one features one letter of the alphabet and is a random collection of just 3 songs.
One where the title, starts with our chosen letter, one whose artist’s name begins with that letter, and one where both the title and artist start with that letter.
Suitable for use on both Hospital and Community/Internet Radio stations, as it’s presenter-led the bite-size programmes are designed to keep your listeners interested and engaged during a period when the station is in automation.
Series 1 contains more upbeat tracks, whereas Series’ 2 and 3 have more laid-back music to suit an overnight schedule of easy listening tracks – all the tracks played can be found in the running orders below.
Series’ 4 to 9 will be individual decades from the 1960s to the 2010s, again containing 3 songs from those decades with a mixture of uptempo and relaxed songs.
There’s also a seasonal offering of The Twelve Days Of Christmas, where I’ve tried to ‘shoe-horn’ either a song title or artist name that pertains to one of the days of Christmas, so for ‘Turtle Doves’ we have a tune by The Turtles and When Doves Cry by Prince as well as different versions of The Twelve Days Of Christmas song.
Sponsor-free and produced in .mp3 format at 192kbps for ease of transfer into any playout system, simply click on the link below to download a .zip file containing the audio.
